Heights Tree People presents Holden Forests & Gardens "People for Trees'" Presentation

This program is a free, 30-minute introduction to the People for Trees initiative. Learn how the tree canopy has changed in northeast Ohio, how these changes are impacting our quality of life, and what Holden Forests & Gardens is doing to mitigate those changes. Find out how you can support our People for Trees movement by joining a vast community of concerned citizens across northeast Ohio who are working to restore our tree canopy, starting in their own backyard.

Coventry PEACE Mini-Forest Mulching Day

Coventry PEACE Mini-Forest Mulching Day

We need volunteers to help us prepare the site for the one-acre mini-forest we are planting as part of the Coventry PEACE Campus project. We need to spread many cubic yards of mulch to define the edges of the mini-forest, kill grass and weeds, and improve the soil so the trees we plant in spring will thrive.

Bring yourself and a water bottle. If you have tools—such as gloves, a wheelbarrow, hard rakes, pitchforks, or garden rakes—that would be great too!

Sign up on our COVENTRY PEACE MINI-FOREST PROJECT PAGE to let us know you’re coming!

Meet us at the flagpole at the Coventry PEACE Campus at 2843 Washington Blvd. in Cleveland Heights!
