Fairfax Elementary School Tree Planting

On May 9, 2023, we planted three new trees at Fairfax Elementary School in Cleveland Heights: two Pin Oaks and one Red Oak. All three fifth-grade classes took part in the planting, and we talked about how important trees are to our health, communities, and future.

This is part of our ongoing partnership with the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District. We are dedicated to not only building stronger tree canopies around our community’s schools so that our children benefit from all that trees have to offer, but also teaching the next generation about the importance and care of trees for the betterment of our environment as well as our health and well-being.
